Carpert spits high-pressure muddy water to knock geodes loose from cave walls. It carries them back to its pond and hides them from others.

If it senses the approach of a storm and a tidal wave, it protects its seaside nest by piling up boulders. Born from the high temperatures and pressures deep underground, it defends itself by firing beams from the jewel part of its body.
