Chantik will attach itself to a Chansey's egg, waiting for the Chansey to fall asleep before it steals the egg and runs off with it. Chantik will sit on this egg for hours at a time, expecting it to hatch.
They attach themselves to large-bodied Pokémon and absorb static electricity, which they store in an electric pouch. Chantik lay nutritionally excellent eggs every day.
