Charpert are uniquely skilled at swimming through lava, their wings propelling them through both molten rock and air at high speeds. When they sense an approaching eruption, they gather large boulders to protect their dens.

If it senses the approach of a storm and a tidal wave, it protects its seaside nest by piling up boulders. A Charpert flies about in search of strong opponents.
