Clefew are incredibly rare, even during full moons. The few sightings people have caught were actually during a supermoon.

Anytime a wild Clefew has been spotted during the daytime, and despite being able to learn a variety of moves, they are always seen using Moonblast and Moonlight. However, once the moon becomes visible, they immediately start using other moves.

A Clefew is said to possess the genes of all Pokémon. A Clefew uses its wings to skip lightly as if it were flying.
