Gabveon are considerably vicious Pokémon when it comes to defending their dens and their young. At least thrice a year, Gabveon shed their scales; these scales are said to instil a sense of calm in those who hold and caress them.
It sends a soothing aura from its ribbonlike feelers to calm fights. There is a long-held belief that medicine made from its scales will heal even incurable illnesses.
