Genchic is drawn to heat, but cannot produce much of its own. It often sneaks into campfires or huddles against larger Fire-type Pokémon, inadvertently draining their energy while it tries to warm its ghostly body.

If attacked, it strikes back by spitting balls of fire it forms in its stomach. Deep in the night, your shadow cast by a streetlight may suddenly overtake you.
