Gibsprout will root themselves into the walls of caves, absorbing valuable minerals which they use to harden their teeth. When prey walks by, they will lurch towards them, grabbing them with their powerful jaws.

A Gibsprout's thin and flexible body lets it bend and sway to avoid any attack, however strong it may be. It nests in small, horizontal holes in cave walls.
