It spends its time underwater meditating. However, even when alert, it remains still until unsuspecting prey passes by, where it will then lunge out at incredible speeds before retreating with this new food in its mouth.

It observes prey while hanging inverted from branches. It battles skillfully with its six arms, but spends most of its time peacefully meditating in caves deep beneath the sea.
