Horleef will find a partner and bind themselves to their protection for life, never letting them out of their sight. They will squirt ink at potential dangers, and even at their protectee if they think they might be a danger to themselves.

A Horleef's neck is ringed by curled-up leaves. By cleverly flicking the fins on its back side to side, it moves in any direction while facing forward.
