Occasionally, during thunderstorms, one may be able to hear the thunderous crack of Joltoed's call echoing from the clouds. Small typhoons have been known to spontaneously form where Joltoed congregate.
The curled hair on its head proves its status as a king. Its cells generate weak power that is amplified by its fur's static electricity to drop thunderbolts.
