Krookobell looks for a populated oasis to plant its roots. It will then exude a foul stench, hoping to attract scavengers that mistake it for a deceased Krookodile. Once Krookobell performs a successful hunt, it may bury itself for up to a month.

At night, a Krookobell hangs on to a tree branch with its hooked rear and sleeps. It can expand the focus of its eyes, enabling it to see objects in the far distance as if it were using binoculars.
