Mewrua hide amongst classes of school children, using their powers to disguise themselves as just another human child. They can spend years hiding at the same school, playing with children under a different guise each year.

To protect themselves from danger, they hide their true identities by transforming into people and Pokémon. A Mewrua is said to possess the genes of all Pokémon.
