Onrorus are amicable, often seeking the company of Pokémon that are smaller than themselves. To make friends, Onrorus lets small Pokémon like Spheal and Smoochum use them as slides to play.

Using its diamond-shaped crystals, it can instantly create a wall of ice to block an opponent's attack. There is a magnet in its brain that prevents an Onrorus from losing direction while tunneling.
