Rainine are most active during thunderstorms, racing beneath the clouds whilst watching the sky above them, waiting for lightning to strike. They raise their tail high when they anticipate a bolt of lightning, attempting to catch it with their tail.

This fleet-footed Pokémon is said to run over 6,200 miles in a single day and night. If it stores too much electricity, its behavior turns aggressive.
