Remodon are known to eat the holdfast of seaweed, causing the rest to float to the ocean's surface and create mats. It was once thought that Remodon were incapable of swimming, due to their bulk and because of how often they walk on seabeds.

Any frontal attack is repulsed. A Remodon uses its abdominal muscles to forcefully expel swallowed water, then shoot down flying prey.
