Sandbat can sometimes be found in canyons and rocky deserts. Startled Sandbat will leap from their burrows and fly away, surprising passing trainers.

While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision. It curls up in a ball to protect itself from enemy attacks.
