Silts hides itself deep in forests, for fear of predators taking advantage of its cocooned, almost-immobile body. If found, it flakes off parts of its shell and psychically tosses it at an attacker's eyes before teleporting away.

A Silts has the power to sense the emotions of people and Pokémon with the horns on its head. It prepares for evolution using the energy it stored while it was a Wurmple.
