If small insect Pokémon such as Weedle curiously crawl into Clampoom's shell, the shell will snap shut and begin filling with fluid as Clampoom's digestive process begins. Clampoom does not need to eat much to survive.
Clampoom drools a sweet liquid from its mouth that fills up the clam shell it resides in. It has to regularly open up to empty the shell, whereupon it is swarmed by undersea denizens eager to taste the liquid.
A horribly noxious honey drools from its mouth. A Clampoom slams its shell closed on prey to prevent escape.
