This Pokémon lives in caves with low ceilings, against which it presses its flat head to detect its prey's vibrations. Stunmence isn't a good flyer and instead glides from mountain to mountain in search of new caves to hunt in.

After many long years, its cellular structure underwent a sudden mutation to grow wings. It conceals itself in the mud of the seashore.
