When in direct sunlight, Sunsect's internal spore production accelerates rapidly. Unfortunately, it has trouble seeing well in bright light, leaving it nearly blind during this period.

Sunsect's mushroom is commonly used as a bowl at feasts, since it enhances the flavour through solar power. The mushroom also adds spice, which pairs well with nachos.

Sunsect are known to infest the roots of large trees en masse and drain nutrients. Sunsect convert solar energy into nutrition.
