Swampmortar normally fire water out of their hands, but can switch to fire when they need to. They do this by striking their palms against their fins, heating their hands up with the sparks that fly off.
It blasts fireballs of over 3,600 degrees F from the ends of its arms. If it senses the approach of a storm and a tidal wave, it protects its seaside nest by piling up boulders.
