In bakeries and confectioneries, Swirish is sometimes kept as a guard Pokémon. It releases pink spores from the top of its cotton-like head toward thieves or shoplifters, giving them a fear of sweets and incessant coughing.
It loves to eat damp, composted soil in forests. To entangle its opponents in battle, it extrudes white threads as sweet and sticky as cotton candy.
