Sylsand prefer to live on beaches with pink or white sand. Though the reason for this isn't certain, some researchers suggest that Sylsand can use sand that is similarly colored to their bodies to repair small amounts of damage.

Buried beneath the castle are masses of dried-up bones from those whose vitality it has drained. It sends a soothing aura from its ribbonlike feelers to calm fights.
