Torchgull favor living and flying near the ocean because the cool air helps regulate their own heat. They soar on updrafts, sometimes even using their own flames to create updrafts for themselves and others of their flocks.
It makes its nest on a sheer cliff at the edge of the sea. If attacked, it strikes back by spitting balls of fire it forms in its stomach.
