Vibramander needs to constantly keep sand swirling around its tail to survive. Any moisture in the air makes sand heavy, so it prefers arid climates where sand is light and abundant.
The flame that burns at the tip of its tail is an indication of its emotions. It looses ultrasonic waves by rubbing its wings together.
