It is said that a Volcatrum's bellowing roar causes a volcano to erupt somewhere across the world. It reigns supreme over volcanic areas, terrorizing lesser Pokémon with a terrible bite and flaming gusts of wind from its wings.

Thanks to its gargantuan jaws, which could shred thick metal plates as if they were paper, it was invincible in the ancient world it once inhabited. A sea of fire engulfs the surroundings of their battles, since they use their six wings to scatter their ember scales.
