The fire that fuels Wailure's flame grows larger each time a coral forest completely dies out. Groups of Wailure are often seen quietly floating above recently dead coral forests.

Being consumed in Wailure's flame burns up the spirit, leaving the body behind. It breathes through nostrils that it raises above the sea.
