It spits out a strong and sticky thread to pull down fruits it cannot reach. When it has eaten enough food, it will wrap itself in a cocoon of its threads; these threads are incredibly flame-resistant and have even been found after wildfires.
If attacked, it strikes back by spitting balls of fire it forms in its stomach. It sticks to tree branches and eats leaves.
