Zuplume can go long periods of time without sunlight, moving slowly to conserve energy. When it finally feels direct sunlight, it becomes excited and runs around frantically.

In seasons when it produces more pollen, the air around a Zuplume turns yellow with the powder as it walks. While living in pitch-black caverns, their eyes gradually grew shut and deprived them of vision.
