Shroomder is a shy and meek Pokémon, hiding in shallow holes it digs in the ground and spewing toxic spores at anything that comes close. They gather in small groups hiding around shallow ponds and streams.

At night, it burrows a hole in the seafloor with its broad tongue to make a place to sleep. It loves to eat damp, composted soil in forests.
