Shucargo rely on their toughened shells to keep themselves safe from harm, keeping their body hidden away within them. They extrude a thick paste made from the juice of berries mixed with mucus, using the paste as a means of locomotion.

The shell on its back is made of hardened magma. A Shucargo hides under rocks, keeping its body concealed inside its shell while eating stored berries.
