Shuchu rely heavily on their thick shell for protection, angling their bodies so that their midsection is always the first to take a blow in a fight. They can charge up the kinetic energy of attacks and convert it into electricity.

If it stores too much electricity, its behavior turns aggressive. A Shuchu hides under rocks, keeping its body concealed inside its shell while eating stored berries.
