Unlike most Grass-type Pokémon, Hitmonossom has evolved to photosynthesize sunlight using its flowers instead of leaves. This variant is exclusively found in tropical biomes and uses its extendable flower stems to reach above native plants for energy.

Its flower petals deepen in color through exposure to sunlight. Its legs freely stretch and contract.
