Gyaratrum's brain is actually larger than a human's, but it appears to lack even remotely the same amount of intelligence. It doesn't need to be smart: sheer strength allows Gyaratrum to survive in almost any environment.
Thanks to its gargantuan jaws, which could shred thick metal plates as if they were paper, it was invincible in the ancient world it once inhabited. It is an extremely vicious and violent Pokémon.
