What at first appears to be an active volcano upon its back is actually a petrified tree leaking a magma-hot sap. When enraged, these Pokémon stomp about and release flaming Seed Bombs from the petrified trees upon their backs.
Small Pokémon occasionally gather on its unmoving back to begin building their nests. It can hide behind a shimmering heat haze that it creates using its intense flames.
