Spinashrew roll themselves in their own silk webbing like a protective cocoon when they rest within their burrows. They weave their webbing using their multiple arms to entrap foes before biting with their venomous fangs.

When it curls up in a ball, it can make any attack bounce off harmlessly. The web it spins can be considered its second nervous system.
