Polisaur pretend to be a lily pad and wait for Bug-type Pokémon to come their way. Once they are within range, they flick their tongue out to stick onto the Bug-type Pokémon and eat them.
Polisaur live in large lakes, floating near the surface and soaking in the sunlight. When they need to leave the water they will do so by carrying gigantic lily pads with them to shade themselves from the sun and help keep them from drying out.
Polisaur's flower is said to take on vivid colors if it gets plenty of nutrition and sunlight. The curled hair on its head proves its status as a king.
