Ratsea use their sharp teeth to gnaw through coral, feeding on the animals hiding within the rocky growths of the reef. They gnaw burrows into the reef to have a quick escape route when threatened, never straying far from their holes.

By cleverly flicking the fins on its back side to side, it moves in any direction while facing forward. A Ratsea is cautious in the extreme.
