Sunsaur have a small seedling on their back that they share nutrients with. The seedling absorbs chlorophyll they produce from their body and leaves behind a dark brown pigment in the process.
To support its bulb, Sunsaur's legs grow sturdy. Sunsaur try to minimize movement to conserve the nutrients they have stored in their bodies for evolution.
