The gases of their bodies are soporific to most others, though too much exposure can result in a coma. Their mouths are massive, allowing them to easily swallow foods whole without having to chew.
When exposed to a strong wind, a Munchtly's gaseous body quickly dwindles away. It wolfs down its weight in food once a day, swallowing food whole with almost no chewing.
