Sandking lie in wait for prey by burrowing under sand, their bodies often blending in perfectly. Their bodies are strong enough to grapple large prey and partly curl around them while dragging them under the sand.
A Sandking's thick tail packs enormously destructive power capable of toppling a metal transmission tower. When it curls up in a ball, it can make any attack bounce off harmlessly.
