Sandrorus defend themselves and their young by releasing cold winds from the crystals along their bodies. Using their long tails, they can pick up and fling swathes of sand to be carried by their cold winds.

Using its diamond-shaped crystals, it can instantly create a wall of ice to block an opponent's attack. When it curls up in a ball, it can make any attack bounce off harmlessly.
