These Pokémon communicate with chirps of various pitches, their ears serving to hear these sounds from, at most, a mile away. Because their bodies grow hotter as they remain active, Nidoling do not need to migrate for winter.

These friendly Pokémon send signals to one another with beautiful chirps and tail-feather movements. The male Nidoran has developed muscles that freely move its ears in any direction.
