Sandigar spend most of the day resting beneath the desert sand to remain cool. They emerge from the sand to stretch their wings and glide through the sky. Their main source of food comes from leftovers after carnivorous Pokémon eat their fill.

It glides without making a single sound. It moves along below the sand's surface, except for its nose and eyes.
