Sandior will congregate around areas where meteors will enter the atmosphere, looking to eat any bits that burn up. Scientists use this behavior to predict the paths of meteors.

Originally making its home in the ozone layer, it hurtles to the ground when the shell enclosing its body grows too heavy. It moves along below the sand's surface, except for its nose and eyes.
