To feed, Scolirein sucks the sap from enormous mangrove trees with its long ivory tusks. Its two tails are capable of injecting paralyzing substances, which it uses to attack anyone who violates its territory.
To protect its herd, the leader battles anything that invades its territory, even at the cost of its life. Highly aggressive, it uses the claws near its neck to dig into its opponents and poison them.
