In a strange twist of fate, This Magikarp was chosen by Necrozma as a vessel for transportation in water. Dark crystals grew out from where its fins used to be, becoming terrible claws.
Its search for light has led this Pokémon onto land. Although it's quite literally a fish out of water, Necrokarp will stop at nothing to find this energy.
Its swimming muscles are weak, so it is easily washed away by currents. Light is apparently the source of its energy.
