Necrodile will scatter shiny coins onto the ground to reflect more light into its body. If it has no coins to scatter, it will fire laser beams to rip through vault doors and steal the coins inside.
It can expand the focus of its eyes, enabling it to see objects in the far distance as if it were using binoculars. Light is apparently the source of its energy.
