Troops of Starkey bound across coral reefs in search of food, their vivid red gems pulsing in synchrony with one another. They prefer to hunt at night so that they can more easily watch for signals from other members of their troop in the dark.

When it starts shaking and its nasal breathing turns rough, it's a sure sign of anger. It gathers with others in the night and makes its red core glow on and off with the twinkling stars.
