Despite its incredible size, Stundon is an extremely effective ambush predator, hiding its massive body underneath the mud of lakes and rivers, pouncing on smaller Pokémon that get too close, crushing them under its weight.

It lies in mud with just its face out, looking like a larger Stunfisk until it emerges and pursues smarter prey. Its face is so durable that a meteor strike cannot harm it.

Any frontal attack is repulsed. It conceals itself in the mud of the seashore.
